The temporary exhibition offers a fascinating journey into the Burmese culture through a fine selection of artworks being associate by a sort of "aesthetic vector" which allow to achieve a state of spiritual perfection. It is Buddha statues , representations of tutelary spirits of the land and refined containers, most of them lacquered and decorated with the technique of gilding with gold leaf, used in ceremonial context, or for home use. The 63 artworks showcased are a selection of the largest collection of 167 artworks and material culture deposited by the collector Willem Peppler in the Museum of Cultures.
